Statcom are 25 Years Old
Statcom Limited is 25 years old this December. The company was founded by Director David Jones in the final few months of 1984, exploiting the then niche market of Mobile Phones/Car Phones, Answering Machines and Novelty phones for the home."Prior to the demonopolisation of the UK telecommunications industry, we were getting requests from Car Phone and Answering Machine clients if we could offer services as an alternative to BT. Companies and Corporations were becoming increasingly aware that they didn't have to be tied to an overpriced British Telecom" said Founder David Jones "Statcom have progressed and grown as technology and the telecommunications industry has advanced, we will endeavour to evolve the company and our services into the future."
