Telephone System at Bristol Southmead Hospital
Statcom have bid and won the tender to supply and implement a Voice/Telephony Network otherwise known as a Business Telephone System to the lead contractor involved in building the new Southmead Hospital at Bristol. The system will be a Siemens HiPath 3500 System initially while the site is set up and then in approximately December the Siemens system will be substituted for a larger BT Norstar Option 11 system to accomodate upwards of 150 users. The new "Super-Hospital" will provide cutting edge healthcare to citizens living in the South Gloucestershire, Bristol/Avon and North Somerset areas.
